What is Yoga Ashram?

An ashram is a place to practice yoga, meditation, and spirituality, an oasis of serenity and calmness. Traditionally it is called spiritual hermitage. From the Sanskrit root word srama, ashram means “making an effort towards liberation”. It is a place for self healing and for finding inner peace. Guests can stay for a weekend wellness break, 4 days or 7 days yoga courses, for yoga teacher training. No matter how long you stay, you will benefit from traditional yoga teachings, daily practice, guided meditation, pranayama, a healthy yogic diet, safe space and recovery from chronic stress. People come here to slow down and unwind from their hectic lifestyles, to deepen their sadhana (yoga/ meditation practice).

Ashram life is a spiritual life:

1. A spiritual, academic place of retreat for learning and practicing
2. Ancient and modern yogic teachings, for fulfillment in life through self realization
3. Our aim is to create a suitable environment (ashram) away from the distracting world of desire and competition, towards retreat, life in simplicity and truthfulness. “Simple living high thinking”.
4. Not only through classes or courses, but we offer the chance to live throughout the day in spiritual learning, practicing and transforming consciousness with equal minded aspirant.
